I usually don’t leave reviews, but I’ve ordered from this place many times and have always found it to be some of the most authentic and tasty food in the area. Unfortunately, today I found what appeared to be part of a cigarette butt in my food. Neither my family nor I smoke. At first, I noticed an off, burnt taste, but I assumed it was just something that had burned a little at the bottom of the wok. After eating about half of the food, I found a small piece of what appeared to be a cigarette with a burnt end. I was so disgusted that I immediately threw the rest of the food away. I called the restaurant to let them know what I had found. There was no offer to refund the order or otherwise rectify the situation. I didn’t press them for anything, but given what happened and how it was handled, I probably won’t be ordering from here again.

6/5 ⭐️ such amazing complex umami flavors I look forward to when searching for authentic Chinese food. Spot is only for foodies. If not I’d recommend the more bland American Chinese spots. I’ll say the heat and flavors are going to leave your mouth sizzling. Hands down the best Authentic Chinese restaurant in South Florida.

Good food and a nice casual atmosphere. It’s not a fancy Chinese restaurant, but the dishes are tasty and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and the food came out quick. There aren’t many vegetarian options, but overall it’s still a solid place for a simple and satisfying meal. We went in at a time that they are not super busy so overall experience was great.

I always enjoy coming to Dragon City. The food is pretty authentic Chinese cuisine — flavorful, fresh, and consistently satisfying. Service is quick, and everything comes out fast without sacrificing quality. The prices are on point for the portions and quality you get. Honestly, you can never go wrong here. It’s a reliable spot when you’re craving solid Chinese food.

We had an incredible meal at Dragon City Chinese Restaurant in Hollywood, Florida! If you’re a fan of bold, authentic Szechuan flavors, this spot is an absolute gem. We ordered a spread of Mapo Tofu, Szechuan Veal, Szechuan Pork, and Chili Fish—and every single dish was a knockout. The Mapo Tofu was silky, spicy, and full of that signature numbing heat that real Szechuan cuisine is known for. The Szechuan Veal and Pork were both tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with just the right balance of spice, garlic, and depth. But the star of the show might’ve been the Chili Fish—crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and swimming in a fiery, aromatic chili oil that we couldn’t stop eating. The portions were generous, and the service was quick and friendly. You can tell this place puts care into every dish, and the flavors are the real deal. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Chinese food with serious Szechuan heat. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!
